Estral S.p.A. has a quality department with modern laboratories where mechanical tests, analyses of alloys and hardness can be realized.

Estral S.p.A. was the first italian company in the aluminium industry with a special software-system to control the sections of the profiles. The German system called Werth can “read” any section and reproduce it graphically.To have also more control in-line during the production special machines had been installed.These computers can “read” the section profiles comparing it with the relative original drawing and procreate a report. The results are memorized and filed.


In 1995 the Estral S.p.A. quality system achieved the certification by the DET NORSKE VERITAS (Dnv) according to the regulation UNI EN ISO 9002 and requalification under new norm UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 by the same DNV in October 2009.
