One of the most important characteristics of aluminium is its ENDLESS RECYCLABILITY.

Aluminium is suitable for myriad applications and can be reused, thanks to its qualities: lightweight, electrical conductivity, non-toxicity, absence of magnetism, durability, workability, etc.

Its recovery and recycling, apart from avoiding the need to mine bauxite, means saving 95% of the energy required to produce it starting from the raw material: to obtain 1kg of aluminium from bauxite are required 14kWh of energy, while you only need just 0,7kWh energy to obtain 1kg of recycled aluminium.

Recycled aluminium has the same properties as the one obtained from the first fusion and can be used for all consumer goods. It has been defined a green material thanks to its long life and the possibility of being recycled at 100% without losing quality.

It is an extraordinarily strong material, with high anti-corrosion properties and that require a very little maintenance. For these reasons it's the most requested material in construction, a sector in which aluminium has quickly become the most ecological, long lasting, stronger and lighter than traditional materials.

It's endless recyclability without losing its quality, combined with the fact that the recycling process requires only 5% of the energy originally used for production, thus allowing a considerable reduction in CO2 emissions, makes aluminium an ecological material with an extremely high quality.

Thanks to our most advanced separation technologies we can guarantee top-quality recycled aluminium, even starting from alloys. The aluminium alloy is in fact a mixture of aluminium and one or more metals that modify the characteristics of the aluminium itself, reaching even higher levels of resistance, brilliance, formability and therefore making it a material suitable for any sector and for any use. By separating the different metals and recycling them correctly we can contribute to the environmental protection, maintaining always a very high quality level.

A photovoltaic system for electricity production has also been installed. It covers 15% of the energy required by our plant, reducing the emissions of 520 tons/year of CO2 in the atmosphere.
